Lake Murray now home to large populations of invasive zebra mussels
Biologists with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation say Lake Murray is now home to significant populations of zebra mussels, a non-native aquatic nuisance species that threatens the state's waters with invasion.

BENTON, Ill.- Ray Arning Jr. of Walnut Hill, Ill., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Illini Division event on Rend Lake. For his victory, Arning Jr. earned $5,514.

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Caleb Kuphall of Mukwonago, Wis., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Great Lakes Division event on the Mississippi River. For his victory, Kuphall earned $4,575.

SALISBURY, N.C. - Robert Walser of Lexington, N.C., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division event on High Rock Lake. For his victory, Walser earned $6,156.
