LIZELLA, Ga. - John Henninger, of Jacksonville, Fla., and David Bolema, of Sarasota, Fla., weighed in a two-redfish limit that totaled 15.06 pounds to win the IFA Redfish Tour event at Ruskin, Fla., on May 5. To win the event, which operated out of Little Harbor, the duo topped a large field of two-angler teams to take home a new, fully-rigged Ranger Banshee Extreme powered by a 60-horsepower, four-stroke Yamaha outboard and equipped with a Power-Pole shallow water anchor, Minn Kota trolling motor, Humminbird electronics, Blue Point Fabrication metal work, Bob's four-inch Ultra Light Jackplate, and a Loadmaster trailer valued at $30,000.

Tyler Wilson became a student of sorts again last week in hopes he could school every other angler in this week's Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on Table Rock Lake.
The 24-year-old from Carlsbad, N.M., was learning from the Bassmaster Elite Series competition that wrapped up Sunday on Table Rock's sister fishery, Bull Shoals Lake. Both are rocky White River impoundments, and conditions appear to be the same.
RED WING, MN - Pro Brian Bjorkman of Fargo, N.D. tried to make the final day of the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour on the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude exciting by bringing in a 28 pound 11 ounce sack, the heaviest sack of the day, with his co-angler Keith Keivens of Toledo Ohio. It would fall short and Pro Tommy Skarlis of Waukon, Iowa, and co-anger Tim Lessila of Milwaukee, Wis., who caught four walleyes weighing 14 pounds, 15 ounces was enough for Skarlis to get his first title on the Mississippi River. Skarlis' three day total of 14 walleyes weighing 72 pound, 8 ounces was nearly 9 pounds greater than Bjorkman's in an event featuring anglers from 15 states and Canada. Skarlis win earned him $63,000.
ROGERS, Ark. - The Walmart FLW Tour on Beaver Lake presented by Straight Talk will visit Rogers, Ark., April 26-29 for the third major of its 17th season. Hosted by the Rogers Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature a full field of the world's best bass pros and co-anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.
Annapolis, Md. - Anglers who catch a snakehead fish could win prizes worth up to $200 in the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' (DNR) second annual snakehead contest. Anyone who removes at least one of the invasive, non-native fish from the Chesapeake Bay's watershed has the chance to walk away with prizes from Bass Pro Shops at Arundel Mills, the Maryland Park Service, the Potomac River Fisheries Commission and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. To enter, an angler should submit catch details and a photo of their dead snakehead online through the DNR Angler's log, a popular social fishing site, at dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/fishingreport/log.asp.
